Tuesday 14th May 2019

David Boyce attended the Personal Finance Society Retirement and Later Life Roadshow in Exeter on Friday 10th May. With the world of retirement constantly evolving, client expectations, aspirations and needs ever changing, Bright Future believe it’s vitally important to be at the forefront, adapting and innovating in terms of solutions while providing a valued and genuinely engaging Retirement & Later Life advice service which meets the needs of our clients.

As a member and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (PFS) and Retirement Planning and Later Life specialist adviser, David was keen to attend the event to gain valuable insight to ensure that Bright Future continue to help our clients in the most effective way. The roadshow covered several important areas such as how processes for dealing with normal and abnormal cognitive ageing can be incorporated into the advice process, the development of flexible income strategy options and how alternative investments can help meet the later life needs of clients and the importance of non-regulated care advice for those in need of care.

David regularly attends events organised by the Personal Finance Society and commented ‘Given that many of our clients are already retired or are reaching retirement, attending events such as this are vital to ensuring that Bright Future Financial is able to continue to provide the highest level of advice and service and that we are able to take advantage of the latest developments and innovations in products design and service provision’.
