Bright Future Financial sponsors top bins football challenge during Lyme Regis Carnival Week

Friday 26th August 2022

Bright Future Financial sponsored a top bins football challenge which took place on the sandy beach in Lyme Regis during Carnival Week.

Bright Future provided the medals which were awarded to those taking part who not only successfully scored a penalty but got the ball to go through either of the hoops in each of the corners of the goal. As the competition progressed, the rules were relaxed with medals awarded to those who beat the goalkeeper with two consecutive penalty kicks.

The event proved to be popular, with over 60 medals distributed over the course of two sessions and over £350 raised.

Lyme Regis Regatta & Carnival Week raises money for local good causes with Bright Future Financial’s Marketing Director, Rob James, one of the organisers. This year Carnival Week raised a brilliant £15,000 which will be distributed to local voluntary organisations by way of grants.

David Boyce went along to provide help during the event and enjoyed it so much he plans to play a greater part in next year’s Carnival Week.

David commented “Playing an active role within the voluntary sector of the local community was one of the founding principles when Bright Future was set up. Giving something back through volunteering and supporting local good causes fits perfectly with our ethical approach to providing independent financial advice, helping to build a bright future for everyone.”
